Newborn Baby and Children Photography by Ellabee

A newborn baby is one of life's most percious gifts and parenthood is one of the most incredible experiences of your life. Those early days fly past and before you know it, your tiny little bundle is crawling, walking, talking and leaving babyhood behind.

I aim to create fine art images that you can treasure forever, something tangible that will remid you of the joys of these early days that you can pass on down the generations.

Every time I am invited to do a newborn baby photography session, I am reminded of those indescribable emotions that I experienced when my own sons were born.

I really love working with the parents as well as the children and babies - creating family photos as well as individual portraits. I don't ask you to sit and look at the camera but try to capture the intimacy and joy of you interacting with your little ones.

I work in the Reading area and am willing to travel within a 50 mile radius of Reading for a shoot, covering Berkshire, large parts of Hampshire and Oxfordshire and even into West London. I am often found working in Henley, Windsor, Ascot, Maidenhead, Bracknell and Newbury.

My Studio

I have a portable studio which I bring with me so that you can enjoy the shoot in the calm environment of your own home. Small children are often more relaxed in a familiar environment and new parents often do not want the hassle of having to pack for a new baby to visit a studio, especially during the first few weeks when they are often feeling a bit fragile and sleep-deprived. I allow plenty of time for breaks for feeding, changing, resting, etc.

Shooting at home means that we can also utilise some of your own props which makes the resulting images more personalised and we can incorporate favourite toys or items of your own which have a special significance to you such as sporting equipment, shawls knit by grandma, antique objects, etc
